"It is possible to fly without motors but not without knowledge and skill..." Wilbur Wright

What is motor planning?

Motor planning is required for everything we do. For a child, walking, throwing, bouncing, jumping, coloring, writing, etc. A sensory integrative approach is often used when working with a child who has difficulty motor planning.

Children rely on tactile, proprioceptive, vestibular, visual, and auditory systems, in order to develop body awareness and respond to the task at hand.
