What is Self Regulation Disorder?

Self regulation disorder is when children have a difficult time controlling or governing responses to challenging situations. These challenges include  behavior and physiological, sensory, attentional, motor or affective processes, and in organizing calm, alert, or affectively positive state to respond to the situation.

From emotional outbursts, coordination, making choices, irritations from loud noise, anger and frustration from out of sequence routines, can all be a result of self regulation disorders.
