"All of our knowledge begins with the senses."

What is Sensory Processing Disorder?

Sensory processing disorder is when the brain has trouble processing information it receives through the senses. For a child their responses to touch, movement, visual and auditory as well as taste and smell can affect them in many ways.

The child's senses are their basic communication in their environment. Touch/skin determines what what we should do to avoid pain in an environment, temperature.
